Process: Steps/key points in making a speech

Providing outstanding amazing values through process clarity and improvement 

In a survey, people mentioned that one of the most fearful experience they face is making a speech.  Even top notch high level govt officials fail at the task.  Many do with previously written speech by a ghostwriter, and played over a teleprompter.

The true hallmark of a public speaker is to make an impromptu speech on the stage, without cue cards or teleprompter.  This post took up public speaking with Dale Carnegie and was awarded the top price.  In the GSB class and in the corporate setting, such workshops contests for public speaking  were common
training exercise

How to do this?
  
       Steps    Tasks                                                      Key points

1,  Research                                                 1.  Read one new article a day that will expand your knowledge
                                                                     Memorize, log this into your memory especially the very 
                                                                     interesting one.

                                                                    2.  View famous speeches:   Linclon Gettysburg Address,
                                                                          JFK, Churchill speeches 


2.  Rehearse/practice making                     3.  Use the format tell them what the topic is all about

                                                                   4.  KISS  -  Keep it short and simple.  Dont pontificate

                                                                       and relate to trending topics so that you can catch the                                                                                   attention

                                                                 6.  Use AIDA principle as in advertising

                                                                     I -    nterest.  Solicit their interest;   Ask them to clap
                                                                             their hands, shout, stand, sit down, etc

                                                                     D - esire   Make an interesting offer or promise

                                                                     A -  ct.   Ask for referrral, sale, commitment.  Ask for a yes

3.  Practice.  Speak before a meeting
     Get their attention, Advocate something

    Practice alone.  Practice before a phone
    recorder.  Note the audio.  How can
