This post encourages the re observance of early birds and am talk:

1   There is an incentive of P500.00 for 100% ATTENDANCE AND
         ARRIVAL ON OR BEFORE 7:30
    2.  It is a good training for self discipline and self improvement
    3.  Most successful persons start their day early

The agenda for am talk should be:

     1.   Accomplishment for the previous day  (group and individual)
     2.  Restatement of KRA (goal for the day)

          SALES
          COLLECTION

    3.   Reminder, restatement of work order for the day
    4.  Learning tidbit for the day:   from the handbook, admin plan, sales training
    5.  LIght calisthenics  (max of fifteen minutes)   you can even do zumba with
         music

       On saturday, you opt to:

      1.  Hike
      2,  Volleyball
      3.  Badminton
      4.  Pingpong

and even plan for intramurals or athletic meet in a region

We should invest time in our health to avoid frequent absences due to

How to hire from Torah

Providing outstanding amazing values through process clarity and improvement

The advice that many do not know but has been with us for 3,000 years.  Hire well and the rest follows

1.  Do away  with resume;   find the character.   Examine the content not the container

      1.  Set up test to examine character
           1.  Lunch to see how the interviewee treats waiter or treat unknown people
           2  Interview reference
           3.  Let him work on a small company project unsupervised and paid

2.  Its a convenant, Invest in the hiree, and it goes both ways.  He/she has obligations to you.
You have 90 days to continue the hire or end this.

3.  Keep your word to the hire and pay him right and on time

This comes from Genesis:   Chapter 39 when Joseph was sold to Potiphar.  Joseph though a slave cared for the estate of Potiphar, he did not wait for authority and for  permission to take care of his assets He took charge.  He took ownership.

Nation building via learning and being the best in business

Maybe we do not know know or even disdain business principles of the rich like the Chinese or Jews.  But they are so rich.    In US there may be just 2% of total US population but control 30% of the wealth  At Israel, these rich fund the wars vs their neighbors.

They must be doing a lot of great things that MBA and Ivy Leagues do not know or not teaching (When I was teaching MBA, this post asked students to make report on Business and the Bible,   Money is mentioned 300+ times in the Bible.  Surely God wants us all to succeed.

Here are 7 principles mentioned by the author:

1.  Guard your reputation

     Your networth is your reputation.
Your reputation is the funnel where cash flow comes in
Employ honest weight and measurement.  Be honest and truthful
Be like the Chinese and the Jews who seal the deal with handshake
Their words are the hardrock foundation of any deal

Find in your business gaps where you are not keeping your word and correct this ASAP

2.  Do not muzzle your ox

Share your earnings, your wealth with those contribute to your wealth building.  Chinese and
    Jews practice this.

We practiced this through incentives and profit sharing.  But succeeding generations are not
     practice these.

The illusion of free

Nation building via learning and being the best in business

The illusion of the free.

What if you are renting hotel at $150.00  and the competitor drops to $120.00  and he plans to drop to $110.00  The consultant stops the hotel owner. and suggests:     $180 hotel room  with free meal  worth $`100.00 (which cost only $25.00)

So you make:     $80.00  +   (100 - 25) 75  =   $155.00 much more than if you sell room at $150.00

So you keep your hotel full, and the restaurant full.  Additionally, the hotel occupants order desert or cocktail   and pay the $30.00 extra.  How many times you spend more on the free.    The free is a custom built ATM for you

See how they tempt you at casinos while riding buses with free $50.00 gambling credits and above the WD free dining and drinks

Prof Jorge Entrep: Oft repeated theme to sell and create value - scarcity

ProfJorgeEntrep has sent you a link to a blog:

Nation building via learning and being the best in business

Being scarce creates demand; discount tells you are commodity and that you are desperate.

The moment you discount, the more you appear desperate.  Walk away and be scarce and unavailable.
Create a waiting list.

Scarcity creates value.   Being desperate does not.

So the jeweller instead of 70% discount was advised to close the store and allowed sales by invitation only  Thats scarcity.    (Scarcity creates value by making the product more valuable because it will be gone soon   Discover how you can create scarcity

Selfdev: You could be an operator, a maker and multiplier

ProfJorgeEntrep has sent you a link to a blog:

You could be an operator, a maker and multiplier

Be better than before, than yesterday...

There are three things that you can progress through in your life:    as an operator, a maker, or a multiplier

     1.  An operator -  you follow the work rules, the job description and do what you are told;   you                 dare not venture beyond the four squares and you get your pay  8 - 5 and then you retire.                     Nothing ever changes

If you ever one wants to go beyond himself he must ask himself:

    1.   Does this thing challenge me?

    2.  Can this affect other mans life

    3.  Can this change the world

  2.  A maker -  an inventor, an innovator.  A participant in Genesis 1:28  Somebody who goes beyond the
four lines.    He participates in the continuing creation.  He is out to create an impact to the world.
He realizes the impact of his life in the community and for others

  3.  A multiplier  - Somebody who is a sower and multiplies his impact to the community and the world
This applies to a teacher, a leader, a community worker, a company CEO, an author.  An influencer.
His value goes beyond his own community  and locality

WHICH ONE ARE YOU?

Yes, the customer judges the company by its over, the first impression, the initial acts of kindness and warm CS that goes a long long way

Memorandum:

To        All Sbus

Thru:   Mam Madel

Date  March 24, 2026

SUBJECT:   Yes, the customer judges the company by its over, the first impression, the initial acts of kindness and warm CS that goes a long long way

1.  Yes, the customer judges you and your business by your cover:from:

     1.  Park appearance -  gate grounds, (no or plenty of litter or trash careless thrown
          around

     2.  Personnel appearance -  the SG, the CSS, the receptionist,  the person who                     delivers service to him  her

         1.  Are they observing the office decorum -   id office uniform -  is there (what
happened to last weeks discussion on uniform?)

         2.  Initial customer interaction -  was it courteous, cordial and friendly (or masungit
              hambog?  picky?)

      1.  If you put P5.00 in a machine and gives you back P100.00 will you put P5.00                   again?   Definitely yes.   If that machine is customer service, will you invest more
           definitely yes.

           Or in ads and promo?

     2.  You cant be stingy on that initial contact, or deal.   Invest  P5.00 now and get
P100.00 later.   No PNL on the initial deal but make one on future purchases-
          repeat sales or other merchandise.

     3.  So the free initially is a bait to get the customerr foot in:

         1.  Free haircut at Landers (to the holder of a membership card initial.  P1.00
deal at Temu for initial purchase or Lazada), P99.00 tool box set worth P1,200
              for initial app sign up

         2.  Free coffee in coffee shop for first 50 customer for the day

         3.  First 30 minutes in a billiard free

         4.   Free rose for first 30 buyers in a flower shop

         AND THEN EARN MORE ON:

         1.  Repeat sales
         2.  LTV and referrals
         3.   Other merchandise sales

The initial free is not a loss, it is an investment that returns 20x fold

It may be against the math.  But what makes money for the business is sometimes
not visible to the naked eye

       1.  IMPROVE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE INITIALLY SO THAT HE/SHE HAS
            HAS LASTING PLEASANT EXPERIENCE MEMORY OF THE COMPANY;

       3.  TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN PRACTICE PRACTICE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE
             EXPERIENCE

       4   THIS IS ENTREPENEURIAL A MAKERS/MULTIPLIER JOB

Monday, March 23, 2026

Get the trust first on first transaction the rest of LTV (long term value) of customers come later

This was about a car repair shop that did not have any customer.  A rich man advised the owner to offer

Free or 50% discount on dent repair....

+  free carwash;
+  free inspection
+  free windshield wiper fluid
+  absolute honesty

Earns their loyalty, the go to store (memorial park)

You always spend much on first visit of the customer  Impress him, get his feet inside your store .  Be the go to store shop for him/her.    You get money on the repeat sales.   Make it memorable.  Make him her remember you more

Just like a pastor who got his business from P20.00 xerox ad posted on windshield wiper...  He became a millionaire on the P20.00 worth of xerox advertising for his non existent repair shop but offered free and other great value

Be the store that offers great value on the first visit.  It could be a lavish merienda, or free service

Temu and Lazada offers first unbelievable deals to newbies on their apps.

Reframing the sales copy to get more response

SELL DONT BEG.   BE CERTAIN

The old copy " I am blind, please help"   is begging and helplessness of nothingness.   But the new copy was about beauty and independence.   "Its a beautiful day and I cannot see it.

It reminded them of their happiness.   Of connection.
Change your story.... (Instead of disability, nothingness, emptiness.

Relate this to a memorial park

A memorial park reminds   us  of love and happiness.   CONTINUE EXPERIENCING THIS AT HOLY GARDENS MEMORIAL PARK  (not above grief death and loneliness

We have agreed and action must be undertaken

1. Anu ano:

    1.  Comment ng sbu regarding Jan - Feb PNL
    2.   Anu ano gagawin para tumaas PNL

2.  Consolidated summary ng PNL na nadiscuss:

SBU           Sales       52%      Cogs                OP   ex      Net GP        Jan    Feb   Total

3.  Re Sales   16 - 21.   Ano nangyari
The increase of sales (Sales -  Cost  = GP) has most impact on PNL

     1.  Lets record their commitment and have them submit in writing;
     2.  Lets put on their WO especially CA and CSS KRA for sales
and we will grade them accordingly  (or collateral action)

If really nothing really works, we have to reduce expenses and the
non performers job will have to go.

A sale is effective when you associate emotion related to this as love and emotion, affection rather than the cocoa or milk content of choco gift

This is a discussion about the purchase of Sees Candy by Warren Buffett.
The replacement value approach:   the value of kitchen pots, building values the business at only $8 million but Buffett departing from the cigarbutt approach (basic value approach) was scuttled in favor of the moat (franchise approach) and bought the same for $25 million.
The business returned more than $2 billion for Berkshire.

We are not selling or buying physicall components of food in the case of chocolate:   we are transferring love emotion and affection

People they think would buy Candy See far worth more than the sugar in the candy but for the promise and the warm relations it represent to the receiver of the gift.

In the same manner that a memorial park the lot  represents so much  for the family:

     LOVE
     AFFECTION
     STABILITY
     SEARCH FOR ETERNITY
FOR ESTATE;   FAMILY STRENGTH AND POWER

Mechanized dump trailer.

We can do away with the truck.  Just have 2 of these every sbus.    A non mechanized trailer cost almost P90K

Sales Mindset from Nicolo Machiavelli that will differentiate you from 99% of other sales person

Most people fail in sales because they view it as a transaction of goods. In reality, sales is a transaction of power. To stay "nice" is to stay broke. The 1% understand that every interaction is a battle for the frame, and those who cannot control the perception of value are destined to be exploited by those who can. To dominate the market, you must stop being a petitioner and start being a sovereign. "Whosoever desires constant success must change his conduct with the times." — (Inspired by Niccolò Machiavelli, on the necessity of adaptability and the strategic manipulation of circumstances). In the hyper-saturated marketplace of 2026, traditional "customer service" isn't a strategy—it's a cloak for the weak. This video dismantles the soft, ineffective sales tropes of the past and replaces them with the cold, calculated principles of Machiavellian influence. This is your tactical guide to mastering the psychology of persuasion and seizing the lead in any industry. 👇 Inside You'll Discover: -The Machiavellian Frame: How to position yourself as the prize to be won, rather than the salesman begging for a moment of time.
-The Illusion of Choice: Master the art of "guiding" the prospect's will while making them believe the decision was entirely theirs.

-Strategic Boldness: Why the "Lion" approach secures high-ticket deals while the "Fox" approach navigates complex corporate bureaucracies.

-The Law of Scarcity & Power: Using the threat of your absence to trigger the primal fear of loss in your competition and clients.
-Emotional Detachment: Shifting from "needing the sale" to "commanding the outcome"—the ultimate psychological leverage.

-The Art of Pretense: How to project an aura of inevitable success that attracts resources, trust, and capital. ⚠️ The Brutal Truth: The market does not reward the "hardest worker"; it rewards the most strategic manipulator of value. If you are waiting for people to "fairly" recognize your worth, you have already lost. In sales, as in power, you do not get what you deserve—you get what you take.

Selling here results because it is the inevitable choice after you have framed the same. to be.

Dark secret it is manipulation.

1 You are the authority. You command respect. You project as if you
nor projecting power (but you act as if you are the authority

2 You do not appear desperate. At times you appear you appear as if
you are walking away from the deal

3. You even appear selective. You pre qualify in person if they would like
working with you.

4. In closing, do not appear as if you welcome the idea that its a yes or
no to the deal. You ask:

How do we proceed (but it boils to the idea that you have closed the deal. You all ready own it:

1. Proceed at once to roll out?
2. Or go on a 3 mos staggered period.
                 3.  Sign the paper work now and pay us after 30 days

Forceful and smart selling advice by Machiavelli

Forceful and smart selling advise by Machiavelli

The sales advice was probably adopted from the lines taught at Machiavellis Prince

There are 5 tactics:

The Illusion of Choice Technique (advanced closing strategy) ✔️ How to create scarcity and urgency in sales ✔️ The power of psychological triggers in marketing ✔️ Narrative control and authority positioning ✔️ The Strategic Retreat Method (reverse psychology in selling)

1. The illusion of choice

Control the choice. Do not give the customer unlimited choice

But actually the choice has been made. By employing the good
better strategy. Good is the more expensive and then presenting the
more affordable. It is often a used word: decision becomes inevitable

2. Creating scarcity:

Fear sells. It is better to be feared rather than loved

Either by telling shortage in inventory, or time frame. When there is risk or danger, a person rush to make decision We are adopting this in Temu marketing promos beginning March 16. Limited promo items, and campaigns running 4 weeks at most.

FOMO (fear of missing out)

3. Psychological triggers

Mask of authencity. Perceived authencity. Skill appears trustworth.
One who can give a good advice to build trust.

Appear to be one with them, but actually pushes own agenda

4. Narrative control of authority

Ask question vs defending. Stay on offense.
Appear to be the expert

5. Strategic withdrawal

Dont be desperate. Appear to be not needing tthe agent.

1. Now is not the best time
2. Maybe you need to have more research

Do you appear to be manipulative? But are you not selling everyday. ?

Mindset needed at the Board Room by MIT Monk

These are the things we need to be qualified for the Board Room post

1.  Find the missing note  the ghost note  (the missing data)

Ask for the data that you do not see.    E.g.  the bombers that made bank saw the bullet homes decided to provide armor for the

Upgrading your mind for data that do not show up.

Look behind the curtain and do nto look into things that are shown.  Be curious

   Look at the silent ghost.

   How the 1%  must think

2.  Optimize mistakes

Learn from mistakes.  Mistakes and learning from them create new neural networks.    Those who do not make mistakes plateu

   1.  Define metric -  What does better  mean -   faster, better, more accurate,

    2.  Define the outcome

    3.  Deliver

    4.  Find exact failure point

    5.  Change one thing iterate

3.  Find the hard.

Explore difficult challenges and learn from this  Say difficult nego.

     Stay with it.

High tension conversation:  how to navigate hard conversation nego later

1  From people to facts ;  where do we suggest  we change

2  Lesson the tension   are we with you or against us

     3.  No poinitng fingers   -  we want to work together

     4.  Acknowledge their presence;   appreciate what you are doing.  We care about the outcome and you

Later you will be known as the person

 4.  Time horizon - say  7 years.   Your action differs if you think long term

Beams from dining room;  started to rot  The original architect all ready grew the oak so that the beams can be made in the future.  Cathedral thinking.

Hedge funds investors invest in long term.  Warren Buffett focussed on the long term.    40 years that passed is very fast

90 day timeline -   be visible

12 - 18 months -   decision that willl contribute to the company

              5 years be visionary

ARE YOU PLANTING FLOWERS OR TREES.  ?

 5.  Your identity  -  you can architect  what yourself

     Getting more than you deserve
      Deserving more than you get

     When you make a decision?

1  What will I be if I make decision?
2  Is it a decision that is safe but will not make your better.

You do not see around the corner.  You were made to make the world better.

You will be better You will be for the world that will be better

Important lesson learned at MIT (Massachussets Institute of Technology, NOT MAPUA IT)

The author became a MULTIMILLIONAIRE.  Do you want to be one.  Just like him ?  (He became CEO of his company.)  He used to be a runaway and street boy at Mumbai.

I worked under one such grad when I became an EVP of Savings and Loan Assocation.   I used to hate him, but adjusted him and we became a friend in Land Rover club where we now show our own vehicles and as equals.  Learned a lot from him on leadership and management

Learning from MIT (an Ivy League School)

1.  Understand and love the system

There were many hacksk committed at the top of dome of MIT:   cars assembled on top, flags, and many more done by the students.  They beat the system and they had fun.

You must love the system and then have fun.  You cant beat and hate the system.
(We have people who say we dont have system.

Be even able to hack the system.  (Many do cross the line and become criminals.or our competitor)

2.  Firehose test.

Students were exposed to loads of work that they cant seem to finish.   This develops ingenuity of what should be finished.   You ask the question, how can I cope?

    It develops ingenuity.

    1.  Time management
    2.  Prioritization
    3.  Cooperation and collaboration

Purpose  is NOT EQUAL TO  PURPOSE.

     Purpose is:

                 1  Impacful
                 2  Important
                 3.  Irreversible

We have recruits who complain at slightest hint of hard work, and complexity

3.  Find the first principles

Problems, challenges can be daunting.  Especially innovation.  Find the first principle.   Break down everything into basic parts.    And then it becomes easier.

     Steps:   Find   1.  Facts
                            2.  Aspiration (your goals)
                            3.  Do tests (experiments)

Elon Musk used this in changing the business/rocket science.   He found out that
single use rocket launches are very complex and expensive (NASA made it so)  and found out that rocket launch is only 2% of what NASA spends.  And from there
EM built a multi million Space ex business

 4. Mind and hand approach

Being practical.  Leave the academic and book part.  Do something practical
FInd the MVP (Minimum Viable Product and improve on this)  An MVP is better
than no product at all.  You can improve a prototype but not on nothing

     Practice

     1  Building the product
     2,  Test
     3.  Go to the first principle

At MIT they have a one month period where students do this to present to the VC.  And they end up owning new venures, financed by Venture Capital

  5.  You do not graduate alone even if you are the smartest guy in the room.

You need a team, you need collaboration. you need a mastermind.  though
how smart you are.  John Maxmell term it as the Law of the Lid.  All of major
discoveries and invention now are results of team effort.

This idea makes you humble  and become less of pain in the ass.

How they train traders at Goldman Sach

Goldman Sachs could be the golden standard in investment banking before.  but nearly got toppled by the subprime mortgage debacle in 2008.
The trader/IB relates importantinsights on how he was trained. (Sharran Srivastaa)

1.  How to earn $100,000 from nothing.  This is rather difficult and may border on scamming.

2.  Long term greed.  Find the long term value of the customer.  You dont have to withhold discounts from the customer now.  Give hiim a good deal.  He may buy
     from you again and again.

3.  Be responsive so that you can be trusted.  Keep your notifications CP on.  Be available when customers contact you    (Not as some of the sbus who will
not answer phone calls or gmails.  Develop good communication habits  early on.  Respond to text, dm,

4.  Be ready and fast and offer solutions when shit happens     Dont wait for the damage to get bigger.  (Avoid situations that will spell disaster for you.  ) Consult
superiors and peers to avoid difficulties and anomalies

5   When you are with the best of the best, hard work is the only answer.   Find your hard, that will bring out the best in you.

6.  Develop a investment x ray;  be a good adviser and authority.  In finance, your x ray are   capital presevation, tax efficiency, cash flow and growth.

7.   Only a good brand can push your product/service to sell.     Not your best effort or your personality

8.  Share your network with others network.  It pays to work together as a team to work as one towards customer success and satisfaction.

9.  Show yourself as coachable so that you will have internal champions who will speak for you when you are not around

10  Help your company build a brand. It takes a lot of effort to do that.  But do work on that
