Providing outstanding amazing values through process clarity and improvement

Things to look for when buying a used excavator:

1.   Check the name plate data at the internet, website of the manufacturer
2.   Check for play of the boom and the bucket
3.   Check for crack of the boom and arm;
4.   Check for leaks of the engine oil and hydraulic oil.
5.   Check for play of the track
6.   See if the track plates are thin or thick, or the sag of the track.  If the plates are thin, and
      sag is more than 7 inches for mini, (14 inches for the full size) the excavator is quite old.
7.   Check for undercarriage for bumps and damages
8.   See if the hydraulic can hold up the excavator at idle (not for PC 40

     5,500 hours.  Beware
10.  Check for boom and stick fractures
