11 Things to Remember for Personal Improvement to up results and achieve success

We had a memo in 2008 to remember by as workers: It has been missing.   Maybe by taking a look at this, we can improve ourselves and our business.
Changing the way we operate without changing our mindset is ACCORDING TO EINSTEIN,  INSANITY






1.    Threefold duties of an employee

      OBEDIENCE -  acting and making feedback on memos and instructions
      DILIGENCE -   acting faithfully and with excellence on tasks to be done
      LOYALTY -        pride in our job, company, brand and as a team

2.   BEING AN EXECUTIVE -  getting things done

     being action oriented
     making things happen rather than watching or not knowing
    no excuses, alibis

3.   TIME IS PRECIOUS

     DO IT NOW  (DIN) -  not tomorrow or later
     KISS (keep it short and simple)    -  If you can do it in a month, do it in 2 weeks, if 2 weeks, do it in 1 week, if one week do in 2 days,  if 2 days do in 1 day
                                                              Be more efficient and quick
   BE QUICK RATHER THAN DEAD
   BEING FIRST IS A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE;   (Being quick and audacious win war and marketing campaign

4.   A BUSINESS CREATES CUSTOMER  -  be a businessman -SELL
 -  
     Be part of the team that that builds a strong business by selling and collecitng

5COMMUNICATE FAST SOON AND CLEARLY

     Responds to text messages calls asap and give feedback;   use our communication infrastructure to the fullest

6.  BE CLEAR ON THE SBU GOAL   - TO SELL AND COLLECT

     AND THEN DO THIS!

7   FIND YOUR GIFT, BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS

     God is not an ATM, be thankful and be the one to answer someone elses prayer
    Count your blessings not your misfortune even that is your blessing.  Be thankful to the Lord

8Customer service excellence first  customers (the one who pays) pays our salaries and expenses

9.  Stay honest even if others can not, will not, or are not.     Integrity is the only wealth that you can bank on difficult times
     Dishonest politicians are aberrations

10.   Pride in the organization the brand the product and the team.  Holy Gardens first

11.  BE RESPONSIBLE  -  Someone has to be in charge and be asked to be accountable.  at the sbu

Writing a marketing plan for 2026






Writing a  2026 marketing plan

1.  Objectives:

     1. To organize our marketing effort to sell and market our inventories
     2.  To build our brand identity to the public
     3.  To sustain business and feed our staff and other stakeholders
     4.  To fight off anticipated economic difficulties (the great reset of US financial system,, devaluation of US dollar (due to Japan and China dumping US dollar.loss of reserve
          status and end of US Petrodollar

2.  Background:

    1.  We submitted marketing plans by October with many having great mental setbacks on writing a marketing plan -  not applicable, other consultations with marketing  gurus
    2.  We wasted a lot of PHP millions with only the old price promos being taken in and even abused by some sbus despite setting a limit
    3.  Little or no sales by December.   
    4.  Most did not meet their targets;   relying only on old price promo

    Writing a marketing plan

    The writing of marketing plan is an employable skill.   Not many know how to do this.   Do you think you have the mental capability and openness to prpeare a marketing plan

    What is a marketing plan -  iit is a story a plan on how you can sell your products successfully taking into consideration the reality:of:


A.  Background, reality


        1.  Company:

             1. Organization
             2.  VMBP
             3.  Opportunities
             4.  Risks/obstacles to the business

      2.   Competition

            1.  Their 4ps (current marketing plan that will frustrate our efforts to sell) we have to be better than them
            2.  What makes them a stand out

    3.  Customer

         1.  Profile of current buyers:    age, sex, wants and needs, for our product
         2.  How do our products meet their needs
        3.  What pisses off the customers (our internal practice/processes that are defective eg the pronouncment in an sbu that CO dos are issued after a year... (against
             EO 648

     4.   What are the trends in the memorial business?  How are customer experience enhanced

           WHAT MAKES PROSPECT BECOME BUYERS?

   B.  Strategy 

       3 -5 important batch of activities that you will do do to make prospects your buyers.    Your background study should guide you make your choice

         Say:   example

      1.  Emphasize scarcity  (for sbu with low inventory) 
      2.  Beautify the site  -   place tunnel lights, solar lamps, redesign office
      3.  Excellent interments   - incentivize CSS

         AVOID BEING DRAWN INTO PABARATOHAN PAMURAHAN.  All good things are expensive.   We are the cheapest in the market.  Dont cheapen us any further.

Background:

   1.  5ps:    professionalism, productivity, process, profit, personal improvement
   2.  One of the greatest responsibility  of the individual is to improve himself
   3.  HANAP BUHAY means:

       1.  Paghahanap ng ikabubuhay (salary)
       2.   At kabuluhan sa buhay (meaning of life -  philosophical)
   4.  Our goal in life is find our gifts and to share it with others or seve others.

1.  The underperformer under achiever
      Lacks energy enthusiasm and desire to accomplish job tasks during the day
      Comes in late goes home early
      In perpetual state of need of training
      Refuses to be trained or improve

      A frequent complainer. 
      An avid reader of latest from DOLE
      Negativistic
      Looks as if everything on the job is being forced

      Tama lang, fair days work for fair days wages.   
       Only after salary like #1
       Arrives at 8:00 and leaves at 5:01 (maybe wearing the same pants brand)
       Will strictly stick to job description or absence of this and will not go after






3.   The UNLI

       A model employee
       Accepts all other assignments -  will attend to customer even if in accounting
       A man woman for others










4.   The ZEALOT

      Is energized and ambtious
      Internalizes the Vision Mission Beliefs and Principles of the company
      Is ready to defend the company vs detractors. 
      Looks at his job to learn more and step to more opportunities
      Will probably end up as manager of senior officer or better a business owner/millionaire
      Talks constantly positive things about his plac eof work and employer
      Improves himself in the job and himself everyday.  





What type are you?

If you are number 1, are you ready to move up to at least 3?
What prevents you from improving yourself and your career.
