How to get the most out of your reading books - SELF IMPROVEMENT

Providing outstanding amazing values through process clarity and improvement

Objectives:

     1.  To make our self improvement journey faster and longer lasting
     2.  To improve selves and to improve our kpi and kra
     3.  To make people productive
     4.  To make people impressive
     5.  To promote people who are qualified and knowledgeable
     6.   To lead the people achieve TRM (task related maturity)

Reality

    1.    Very few people pay little attention or not improve  or are
           not serious about self improvement

    2.  No one invests in self improvement, ie buy books

   3.  Some people read scan, browse and do not remember anything

   4.  People seldom conduct AM talk to upgrade knowledge skill, work planning daily

  5.  Do we see book reports?   Do we have promotions based on book reports?
None because no one says nag improve no proof naman, no results

WTDN    From MIT monk:

    The acronym is ACTOR

A   - im    Be a spy.  Have a goal in what you want to find out from the book
rather than going on a shot gun approach

C   compress -  When you read books you do not want to overload
your brain but you want to findd out the singlemost
important idea that you picked from the book

This is in line with our promotion based on books read
What is the singlemost  important ideal learned.

Find out the trunk (using mind mapping) these contain
the main ideas.  The rest of the book are leaves and twigs-
examples and stories.  When you just gather the leaves, you
miss the trunks and main branches

You can ask your AI for the main idea

T   each          thats the reason why we ask for power point
thats why we ask for am talk and sharing of book reports
once a week to make people really engage in hard efforts
                      to learn and improve

O  wn             You own what you read if the main ideas in the book
disrupts and affect your routine work and life.

IT IS ASKED IN THE BOOK REPORTS.  How will it apply in
your daily life.  If you do not own, it you wasted the book, and
or just borrowed or browsed this at the bookstore.

Your goal in life is to find your GIFT cultiveate, polish it so that
it can be a blessing to others.

Other term -  relevance to you and your job...

R ead          If you read books, then in the future, you can read people,
events, lessons unfolding in an event, risks, opportunities to
                   make money

That is why readers often, READ.  To read others and prepare
                   accordingly

SUBJECT:   IMPROVE YOUR HABITS AND IMPROVE YOUR SUCCESS RATE AND YOURSELF

Copied from comments

hase 1: Attention Habits Correct After the Click: Instead of fighting a bad reflex (like clicking on social media or reaching for junk food), attach a positive behavior immediately after you catch yourself doing it [04:02]. By taking a simple action like drinking a glass of water, you interrupt the interruption [04:25].

2 Control Your Input (The 4D Framework): Unfinished tasks drain background mental resources [05:08]. To counter this, batch your communications (emails, messages) and use the 4D Framework on each item only once: Do it, Delegate it, Date it (schedule it), or Delete it [06:02].

3. Write to Think: Writing by hand brings deep conceptual clarity over typing [07:50]. Before any heavy conversation or foggy decision, lift the mental fog by answering three prompts on paper: What do I know? What am I assuming? What is the next honest action? [08:05]

⚡ Phase 2: Energy Habits 4 Quantize the Action: The hardest part of any routine is simply starting. Break your goals into the smallest possible "energy packets" (e.g., writing one line, doing half a push-up, walking for 1 minute) to drastically reduce the friction required to get going [09:37].

5. Set a Caffeine Cut-off Time: Caffeine has a half-life of 5 to 6 hours [10:36]. Drinking coffee in the late afternoon leaves a massive amount circulating in your system at bedtime, disrupting deep sleep and triggering a groggy morning cycle [10:56]. Stop caffeine intake at least 6 hours before bed [11:08].

6. Ride the Ultradian Waves: Your brain operates in 80 to 120-minute daytime cycles of high and low alertness [11:54]. Instead of forcing yourself through afternoon dips with more digital input, match a 60–90 minute focus block with a true 10–20 minute recovery block (walking or breathing) completely free of feeds or emails [13:06]. (There is no sustained focus. Brain works in waves)

✨ Phase 3: Happiness Habits 7. Look Up (Practice Awe): Go outside at night and look at the stars [13:23]. Experiencing the vastness of the universe triggers a sense of profound awe, putting your daily stresses into perspective [15:32].
8 Look Within (Practice Gratitude): Realize that you are made of the exact same stardust as the universe and that you are an entirely unique miracle [14:40]. Looking up reminds you that you're surrounded by miracles; looking down reminds you that you are one [15:42].

9....Forgive Yourself When Habits Break: Your routines and systems will inevitably break on bad days. Avoid the exhausting spiral of shame and self-prosecution; you do not have to be your best self on your worst day [16:00].

SUBJECT;  SYSTEMS PRINCIPLES TYPES OF SYSTEM  AND HOW TO APPLY THIS IN OUR JOBS

    Objectives

   1.  To mold our minds into thinking into terms of system rather than linearly
   2.  To think in terms of team, and pattern to speed up action collectively
        in times of crisis

   Background

    1.  Many people say there is no system but we took time and effort to
document everything in a blog, or have MCs printed.   THEY ARE
REFERRING NOR ARE READING THIS AND DO THEIR OWN
CONTRIBUTING TO THE  FOURTH TIME;  chaotic system

  2.  We operate on a matrix system and we have problems in terms of
authority and scope (juristidction)  we operate on a matrix system

May head and sbu, naintersect ang functional reporting ie to function
     and reporting:

HR, Accounting and Marketing (multinational companies operate on
triple matrix includes geographical grouping resulting in duplication)

   3.  Two authors guros talk about system

Peter Senge  5th discipline.  One of the disciplines is system
Everthing is a system.   Things in the universe is not affected
by one factor alone (vs Cause and Effect)    Every event result
works more like parts of a clock   One breakdown spirals through
the system causing the entire system to fail

All system at one time or another will experience breakdown as time
            passes.

Hibino Breaktrhough thinking -   One of the elements is system:

Input, throughput (process)  output, purpose, human aid,
           catalyst, supervision

WTDN

1.  We need to think in terms of system

2.   In a fire you need to know what is not visible, hidden patternss

3.   Parts of the system:

      1.   What is visible

       2.  Interconnection  (standards and keypoints) what makes this whole
   thing

      3.   Pattern

           3.  SELF IMPROVEMENT    are sites on sales training and admin plans
                being read

   3.  Obstacles:

        1.   Lack of communications  -  memos are still not read understood
              or workshopped

        2.  Need for better leadership and management    We need to exercise
more force for leadership and start punishing the offenders.  A lot of
offenders still here   They go unpunished.

Senior people disobey and promote chaos and a certain senior person
go on leave when given assignment and have counteless absences
in 2025;    A trainee in Calapan even echanged barbs for being
            questioned in their 0 performance

If she must stay stay humble and apologize for misconduct

3  Lack of passion commitment and sense of gratitude.   One sided
           Susuweldo walang responsibility

WHAT TO DO NEXT

1. Ms Tina  will attend to:

     1. Action on marketing plan and report on sales as of May 13, but as is this
problem, her leave took precedence over the task on hand

  2.  Ms. Tina and Anne will make sure the reports are done correctly and on time.    Advancement on job and salary will follow upon exact execution

WHAT STUFF THEY ARE MADE OF HAS YET TO BE SEEN

Discussions:

1.  Be grateful

We should be thankful for our blessings  This should change our  attitude  We appreciate what we have not those with those that we do not have.   Magpasalamat sa nasa iyo hindi magnasa sa wala sa iyo.

2.  Be blessed to be a blessing to others.

We also thank the Lord for the blessings.  We are given the power over the creation.  We create our miracles We pray so that God is an ATM;   so that we can be an ATM for others.  The first step
is tithing.    Or think of things how to help others.

3.  Ppt by trainees on JD :   KRA KPI  Tasks in relation to work orders

The power point  presentations.  submitted especially by SCC  are unsatisfactory.  They simply copy pasted and no effort was made to show that the same is fully understood.   and thus

      Ms.  Tina reported:

That of the P500,000 com wrongly paid to her because of Rosher Kumar fiasco, only P250,000 has  been paid;   about the same amount is still unpaid. (not clear from  Sharifa or her report)
She was paid P280,000 in the past that has been paid.  However its time to collect the com wrongly paid.    The com to be paid amounting to P700000+ will be insufficient to cover her
amount owed to the company:  wrongful payment of commission.   There is a letter from lawyer ready for mailing sending covering the said demand to pay us the com back

Ms Vinluan reported that her mother died and expects payment.   And the narrative seems to be reversed. that we owe  her rather than she owing us;  and including me in the story to which  I am
    not familiar with
